After you listed your rig in Hash4Rent catalogue, in order to make it available for renting by buyers, you need to connect it to Hash4Rent servers.
To get connection data, open My Rigs list, click the rig algorithm tab, find your rig there, click Actions button and choose Edit Rig . Then scroll to the bottom of the page to the Connection Information section. You should see these pieces of information you'll need to connect your rig to Hash4Rent Servers:
You should configure your rig mining software to connect to the specified host and port with the given login and password.
Also, in Miner Configuration Examples you will see out-of-the-box command lines for some popular mining software. You may just copy and paste these commands and use them for launching your mining software. In case of any problems with command line parameters, please consult your software manual.
After connecting your rig, you should see its status as Online on the Rig Details page which can be opened if you click the rig name in the My Rigs list. If the status is not Online , check if you use the correct command to launch your mining software and specified the correct host, port, and miner login. Also check the Pool Status on the Rig Details page: it should be shown as Connected . If it is not Connected but your rig status is Online , it means that the problems lies in your pool, i.e. connection with your pool cannot be established. In such a case check if you specified correct pool connection information on the Create Rig page. Also, you may check if you can connect to the pool directly by changing your miner command line parameters to the values you specified in the Pool Configuration section .
After you verified that your rig status is Online and your pool status is Connected , you may check Workers section on the Rig Details page. It lists all the workers connected using the rig miner login to Hash4Rent servers and shows this information for each worker:
Also, check the Live Hashrate graph which displays real online hashrate data for the last 15 minutes as calculated by Hash4Rent. There are several moving averages displayed here: 5 min, 10min, 30 min, and 60 min averages. Note that initially after rig connection the shown hashrate will be lower than your actual rig hashrate because Hash4Rent system includes in calculation all the data from previous time including the period when it was not connected. For example, the 30 min average shows the average for the last 30 minutes but, if your rig connected only 15 minutes ago, the shown hashrate will be approximately half the actual one. You should allow to pass at least 30 minutes to get a realistic hashrate estimate.
